Dignitories Meeting
Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) is a renownwed "Ambassador of peace
and goodwill" throughout the world. Wherever Moula (TUS) travels people
from all walks of life come to seek his blessings.
On the 10th of March, 2007 various dignitaries of the State of
Karnataka gathered at the magnificent Burhani Masjid in Gottigere to
exchange greetings and seek the blessings of Moula (TUS).
Amongst the few political persons, professionals and other important
personalities present were:
Mr. C.M Udeshi (Minister of Panchayat
Raj),
Mr.
C.K. Jaffer Shareef (Ex. M.P and Union Minister),
Mr. M.A. Saleem
(DCP Traffic),
Mr. Dhananjay (Asst. Commissioner of Custom),
Mr. Jagdish (General Secretary, Janta
Dal),
Mr. Irfan Razzack (Chairman of Prestige Group).
Prior to meeting Aqa Moula (TUS), all the dignitaries went through an
exhibition set up in a corner of the sehan. This pictorial exhibition
projected the various aspects of Aqa Moula's (TUS) multi-dimensional
personality: His upbringing, education, interests, contribution to the
socio-economic development, revival of Fatemi architecture, etc.
All those who attended the function met Aqa Moula (TUS) and admired His
personality, and were deeply touched with His purity and piety and
treasured this unique experience in their hearts and minds. Many visitors,
after having greeted Aqa Moula (TUS) stayed back in the sehan for some
time to avail the opportunity of looking at His radiant countenance. Mrs.
Sujatha Girish, a creative graphic designer, was overjoyed at meeting
Moula (TUS) and said that it was a wonderful experience and a peaceful
morning for her. An educationist present felt privileged to have got the
rare honour of meeting His Holiness and said that He was an institution in
himself and was impressed with the commendable works done by Him for the
upliftment of not only Dawoodi Bohra business community but the world at
large. When asked to describe the experience of meeting Aqa Moula (TUS),
Dr. Girish Rao said, "It was a great experience visiting this very serene
and peaceful place of worship. The blessing of the holy father to
Bangalore can be felt from here. Best wishes to the Bohra community." For
Mr. Ashok Manchandani, a renowned businessman, it was an uplifting
experience to receive blessings from Aqa Moula (TUS). He said, "I felt
very much at peace in His presence."
It was a truly memorable event for all those present, an event that
will be etched in their memories for a very long time to
come.
Aqa Moula (TUS) bestowed upon the Mumineen of Bangalore the azeem nemat
of Chehlum. Moula (TUS) said that Mumineen of Bangalore received the
barakat of Ashara Mubarakah since Chehlum is the Ikhtetam (marks the
completion) of Ashara Mubarakah.
Aqa Moula (TUS) commenced the waaz at 11:00 A.M. The central
theme of the waaz was this ayat: "innal lazi farada aliakal Quran
laraaddoka ela Ma'ad" (He who has revealed Quran upon you will surely
return you to Ma'ad) Moula (TUS) detailed the divine meanings hidden in
the letters of the word "Ma'ad."
Moula (TUS) recalled the various events of
Kerbala. It appeared as if
it were Ashura and Imam Husain (AS) was in front of Mumineen when Moula
(TUS) recited Imam Husain's (AS) shahadat in detail.
In between, Moula prayed Jumoa namaz and
vasila. Vaaz continued post namaz, whereby Moula with karam and ehsaan gave various
nasihats. He said
that Namaz is the differentiator between Mumin and Kafir, hence, Namaz
should be prayed with punctuality. Moula (TUS) also advised Mumineen not
to trim their beards. He said that every Mumin should recite Quran daily
and also hoped that more Mumineen should try to memorize the Quran. Moula
(TUS) also narrated a few ma'ajiz of Rasul-ullah (SAW) and Moulana Ali
(AS). The waaz ended with the recitation of Imam Husain's (AS) shahadat.
Thereafter, Mumineen proceeded for niyaaz jaman.
The Mumineen of Bangalore humbly offer Sajadatu-Shukr in Hazrat Aaliyah
for the innumerable barakat bestowed upon them. As Moula repeatedly
recited the ayah "innal lazi farada aliakal Quran laraaddoka ela
Ma'ad,"
the Mumineen of Bangalore earnestly desire that Aqa Moula (TUS) will visit
Bangalore again and again. May Allah grant our beloved Moula a long and
healthy life.
A
shining bright star emerged on 6th of March 1915. The
brightness of this star has left each and every individual
on this planet and beyond captivated. This shining star, our
beloved Huzurala (T.U.S.), is the source of barakaat seen
today in Dawat-E-Haq. Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa (R.A.) had
thus said decades earlier that Barakaat lies beneath the
qudum mubarak of Burhanuddin Moula (T.U.S.).

years later, Bangalore is witness to a heavy shower of this
barakaat. Bangalore was gleaming with joy, every mumin in a
festive mood! The day started with Rasme Saifee procession,
bands preceeding the dulhas on horses and camels, followed
by mumineen, marching through the lanes of Amakin-E-
Burhaniyah and finally reached Al-Masjid-ul-Burhani.
A
grand stage was made decorated with flowers. The majlis
started with tilawat of Qasida. Huzurala (TUS) then
performed nikah of one couple. In His bayan, Huzurala(TUS)
said:
"Rasulullah (S.A.W.) na zaman ma farzando na nikah thai,
Rasulullah (SAW) ghana khush thai. Aaj mein pan Rasulullah
(SAW) noh Dai choo, mane Aa nikah thai chhe, ghani khushi
thai chhe."
He
also said that in total, 106 nikahs (100 nikah today and 6
performed earlier) will be completed.
Huzurala
(T.U.S.) further said, "Tamey sagla ney Mamlook- E-
Aale Mohammed kahoon choo......... dulha ne Kahoon choo -
tamey dulhan par shafaqat rakhjo aney dulhan ne kahoon choo
tamey tamara dulha ni ta’at karjo."
Huzurala
(T.U.S.) then did Dua Mubarak for mumineen and concluded the
bayan with Imam Husain’s (A.S.) shahadat.
Later,
Shehzaada Qusai bhai saheb Vajihuddin (DM) did shukr araz
and joy filled the air when he further informed that Huzurala
(T.U.S.) had bestowed Bangalore with the sharaf of Imam
Hasan’s (A.S. ) shahadat. The entire masjid came alive
with Nara-E- Takbeer, Allah-O-Akbar.
A
variety of cakes based on the theme of gardens in line with
Bangalore’s reputation as Garden City were presented to Huzurala
(T.U.S.) and the entire masjid wished Huzurala -----
“Happy Birthday”.
This
was followed by a programme by Madrasa students and
qadambosi of dulhas and dulhans.
On the morning of 5th of March, the Mumineen & Muminaat of
Bangalore eagerly awaited Moula’s T.U.S. arrival in Qutbi Masjid. The
Qudum Mubarak Of Huzurala T.U.S. filled their eyes, hearts and souls with
Barakaat Qudsania. After 22 years the Masjid was ornately adorned with
flowers to welcome Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb T.U.S. Tears of Joy
& Shukr flowed from all eyes witnessing the gracious personality. Aqua
Moula led the mumineen for Zohr & Asr Namaz after which
Anjuman-e-Taiyebi Araz’d Najwa-e-Shukr

T.U.S. in his Bayaan on the day of iftitah of Al Masjid ul Burhani, farmayu ke “Tame sagla masjid nu Khayal raakhjo !... masjid ne
saaf rakhjo…ane masjid ne abaad rakhjo !”
We offer Sajadat us Shukr that our Moula
T.U.S. considered us worthy to
be entrusted with this esteemed responsibility and we hereby pledge that
we will honour Huzurala’s T.U.S. Qaul and not only keep our masjid free
from dirt but will also keep our minds and hearts free from negative
thoughts and feelings towards others… and strive to let the Imaarat stand
against all odds, testing times and rough weathers to shine out in its
ultimate and destined glory.
Huzurala (TUS) on Tuesday, 10th Safar ul Muzaffar gave the Sharaf of
Qadambosi to Mumenaat. He arrived at 10:30 am in the sehan of Al Masjid ul
Burhani. More than 500 ladies and children dressed in colourful attire
received the sharaf of qadambosi. Some children even had the sharaf of
Sehra on dast mubarak of Huzurala (TUS). Mumenaat's faces glowed with joy.
This shower of Barakaat continued till 1:30 pm. Huzrala TUS then proceeded
to Haveli Mubarak in Miyana.
Huzurala (TUS) on Wednesday, 11th Safar ul Muzaffar bestowed the sharaf
of Qadambosi to Mumenien. Syedna TUS delivered a short bayan in which he
said that the rasam of “Sabeel ul Khair val Barakaat” was started by Syedi
Abdul Qadir Hakimuddin Saheb (AQ). When offering Sabeel, one must not
think that he has to give but that he should give and that it is an
mandatory on him. Huzurala graciously showered pearls of Dua Mubarak in
which He said,
Huzurala (TUS) praised Anjuman e Taiyebi for their nashaat and Ikhlas
in Khidmat and while advising, he said,
This bayan teaches us to reconstruct our inner self and re
evaluate our belief about the basic concept of Sabeel for the welfare of
mumenien and to unite together and work unitedly like the parts of
the body.
More than 350 mumineen and children recieved the sharaf of Qadambosi
amidst recitation of Madeh. Tears of joy and fulfillment were seen on the
faces of each and every mumin.
The
first Tafreeh program of Moula on Bangalore Visit was a trip
to Safari at Bannerghatta National Park on Thursday the 12th
of Safar-ul-Muzaffar. Huzurala TUS arrived at B N Park in an
escorted convoy at about 10:50 am as Shehzada Sahebs and
Qasreali Bhaisahebs eagerly awaited the arrival. The VIP
safari van for Huzurala TUS and two Safari vans for Qasreali
Sahebs stood ready to head off for the Safari.
As
Moula TUS stepped into the van the staff officers of B N
Park queued up to meet & greet Moula TUS. With joint
hands they greeted His Holiness TUS and touched his feet and
seeked his blessings. Huzurala TUS offered tabassum and
blessed all before the departure to safari. A Special
officer accompanied Huzurala TUS and other 18 members from
Qasreali in a fully enclosed Safari as their guide.
As
we headed in the enclosed vehicle towards the herbivorous
section in the forest area, Moula TUS said that the place
looked simlar to Udaipur. On seeing people working in the
forest Huzurala TUS asked how these people work amidst these
wild animals. The guide answered, that they are accompanied
by a member who feeds the animals and the animals are also
accustomed to them.

TUS enquired about the animals and the guide gave details.
On the way many Deers, Neelgais and Bisons were spotted
roaming and playing in the park. From here the vehicle moved
to Bear Safari where bears of different sizes and breed were
wandering in groups. The guide gradually listed the names of
the animals that he spotted and also described their special
features to Huzurala TUS. Just ahead was the most awaited
Tiger & Lion Safari. Everybody in the van was thrilled
to spot tigers taking leaps while roving on the stones. The
intense close sight of Tigers moving freely in the Natural
habitat was very exciting.
After
about one and half hour the memorable trip came to an end.
Huzurala TUS blessed the organisors with Dua Mubarak.

Huzurala
Tus performed the Iftetah ceremony of the newly built Masjid
in Bangalore. Huzurala Tus arrived to the Masjid at 11:00 am
and opened the locks of the Masjid followed by the Iftetah
and Waqf Rasam, Huzurala Tus bestowed the name Burhani
Masjid to the new masjid. This was followed by the Maqdam
Majlis, in which Shz. Qusai bs Vajihuddin DM performed the
wadahawanu ceremony. Huzurala Tus bestowed mumineen with
kalemaat nooraniyah and graced mumineen with doa mubarak.

As
5000 Mumineen waited anxiously in the grounds of The Holy
Spirit School to welcome their beloved Huzurala (T.U.S.),
the long awaited moment finally arrived to quench our 20
year long thirst. The evening of 7th Safar-ul-Muzzaffar
1428H., 24th Feb. 2007, was an evening of high anticipation
and an evening that promised the fulfillment of the most
cherished desires.
Huzurala's
(T.U.S.) plane landed at 8.20p.m. After a brief meeting with
the dignitaries present to receive Moula (T.U.S.), the
car left the airport. The manzar of Moula's (T.U.S.) white
dazzling Scorpio with a convoy of 11 cars was a sight
that will be etched in the memories of the onlookers who
looked on in awe!
Finally
the historic moment arrived at 9.40 p.m. There are no words
to describe the emotions and the atmosphere when the
mumineen waiting on the grounds caught the first
glimpse of Moula (T.U.S.). The nazar of Moula (T.U.S.)
captured the hearts of the people and Moula! Moula! echoed
everywhere
.
The
stage where Moula's (T.U.S.) bethak was arranged was a
miniature garden symbolizing the welcome to the Garden City-Bangalore
and it was done up in bright hues reflecting the mood and
the happiness of the mumineen of
Bangalore
.
The
Isteqbaal function commenced with Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Majeed
followed by tilawat of Qasida mubaraka and presentation of
bouquets by Madrasa students. Moula asked each of them their
names. It was followed by Aamil Saheb’s melancholous
welcome speech in which he offered sajadat-us-shukr in
Hazrat Aaliyah and did araz for chehlum.
Our
ever-giving Moula (T.U.S.) in return bestowed on us the
azeem sharaf of Chehlum Mubarak of Aqa Husain. Moula (T.U.S.)
ye farmayu.
Later,
Moula (T.U.S.) performed the iftitah of Haveli Mubarak the
Amakin-e-Burhaniyah at 10.42 p.m. and appreciated it. The
mumineen present there got the sharaf of salaami from
Huzurala's (T.U.S.) own balcony.
It
was a day that will rise in the history of
Bangalore
as the most momentous and fulfilling day for the mumineen
here and its fragrance will linger in our memories for ever!
