In khitab Mubarak of
Aqa Moula (tus) to jamiyat of madras and
Calcutta in Vishakhapatnam Aqa Moula (t u
s) emphasized on hygiene cooking
environment of Salawat and niyaz of IMAM
HUSSAIN AS for mumineen to be in good
health. This was indeed an eye opener to
the mumineen of chennai.
OUR AIM - AQA MOULA (TUS) NI KHUSI AND
MUMINEEN IN GOOD HEALTH
With this in mind, Janab Aamil saheb
SAYEED UL KHAIR BHAI SAHEB DM took the
initiative and along with Members of
Anjuman e Burhani and Evan e Burhani took
up the project to renovate the existing
kitchen at Evan building. Janab Aamil
saheb along with the members visited
various MLM companies, Taj group of
hotels, Aurobino ashram, Pondicherry and
IT parks to study the layout of the modern
kitchen. Ismail bhai Saheb, architect
proposed architectural design and layout
for the modern kitchen.
Chennai has a
dwelling of approximately 7649 mumineen.
The total jaman schedule is 275-300 jaman
in a year, which includes MOHARRAM,
RAMAZAN, URUS, and KHUSHI AND FATEHA. It
was imperative to take up the project
immediately. The project was time bound
due to various factors, had to be
completed in a stipulated time.
The following points
were considered during the renovate
1. Recommending the
most suitable location for the kitchen
with regard to easy handling of food
material.
2. Type of
equipments required in modern and hygiene
kitchen
3. Designing of food
preparation area, kitchen layout, exhaust
hood system, service area, dish and
utensils washing area, pot and trolleys.
4. Total gas
requirements and systems.
5. Food lifts and
power generators.
The estimated cost
of the project was RS 125 lakhs.
The kitchen was
completed in record time. Janab Aamil
saheb inaugurated the kitchen during
ayyamut tabudat period and felicitated the
architect, Contractors and the khidmat
guzaar.
The present hygiene
kitchen now has

Cooking gas system is designed and
fabricated as per requirement with
stainless steel 304 grades, 52 four
independent control burners.

The stainless steel chimney with fresh
air ventilators is installed.

The gas supply is provided with a gas
bank of 64 cylinders in line with ISI
norms.

The kitchen is equipped with vegetable
cutters for salads, potato peelers, wet
and dry grinders, meat mincers, and
-
Jet washing equipments.

The flooring and tiles are fixed as per
the norms to avoid breakage due to heat.

Preparation and wash area is carefully
planned to avoid any unhygienic
condition.

The kitchen is properly illuminated with
energy saving lighting equipments and
has a good working ambience.

Two food lifts with stainless steel body
and with one ton capacity each and ARD
and power battery back up is also
installed. GARBODRAIN –garbage-crushing
machine is provided to clear the food
waste and to avoid any drainage problem.

A centralized corporate office is
located at the mezzanine floor

Two centralized air-conditioned dinning
halls, super deluxe hall, and a terrace
garden with individual pantry is
provided.
That is not all. In second phase it is
proposed to include dish washing machine,
cold storage, Hi- tech technology for
thalls and deghs storage and service
station in an amazing 5500 sq feet kitchen
of course AT AN EXTRA COST.
