gift from the faiji is also to be kept in the basket (which may be
a gold or silver coin, clothes or etc.)

faiji sits with the baby on a cushion covered with a red cloth,
she faces sitting the Qibla with the baby's head on her right
hand. She then clothes the baby with the jabla and topi .she then
makes him wear the taveez and nazrul maqam 8 shaped of gold,
chital or kalli in the girls or boys hand respectively. Silver
beri in the legs. The Nazrul Maqam should later be presented to
Aqa Maula (tus).

then writes Alif near the right ear and Noon near the left with
kajal.

the Azan in the right ear and Iqamat In the left.

makes the baby taste jaggery and kahke shifa.

gives the gift to the baby.

mubakbadi (congratulations) is given.

basket is kept under the baby's cradle all night and the Quran
near the baby's head.
