Nikah Ceremony

Proposal
The boy's side takes a proposal to the girl's house. When the answer is in affirmative, YES, then sweets are distributed. If possible Nisbat (Engagement) should be done on the blessed hands of Aqa Maula (tus). The customs of Awta Jata, Barne Charawna and exchanging gifts throughout the year on happy occasions – these should be performed.

The Nikah
The groom wears a Paghri (turban) or Feta. Kurta – Saya. A string of pearls and Takhti around his neck along with a floral garland. A Dushala (Shawl) is put over the left arm. An amulet is worn on the right arm. A Sehra is tied after the nikah.

The bride wear's an elaborate dress (if possible Red), she applies Mehndi and dons ornaments. During the nikah she should pray Quran e Majid (Inna Fathana) and if she has an excuse she can pray Dua e Saifee or Salawat.

The boy's side should a nikah feast. The custom of Nikah Torn and Nikah Salam are to be done.
